The BioInnovation Scientist (BIS) Program is a unique multi-level skills development program.
BIOINNOVATION SCIENTIST PROGRAM – Level I (NOW LIVE AND ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!)
Drug Development Process and Innovation Skill Acquisition
BIS Level I is the start to developing an innovation mindset, and increasing your personal career toolkit. It is open to those who are early in their careers or who are looking for a career transition.
High-quality online content, curated by adMare experts, is contextualized through integration workshops; and participants are also supported in seeking mentors, and growing their networks.
Completing Level I takes eight months, at approximately 5-10 learning hours/month. The BIS Level I graduates will receive recognition from adMare for demonstrating commitment to the Canadian life sciences industry.
BIOINNOVATION SCIENTIST PROGRAM – Level II (COMING IN 2021-2022)
Commercial Acumen and Innovation Skill Development
BIS Level II focuses on honing and adding significant commercial acumen to participants’ career toolboxes. Participants will continue to build their networks and industry profiles, and will also be provided with senior scientists as mentors. BIS Level II graduates will receive recognition of their possession of valuable innovation skills, a growing network, and a commercial mindset to accelerate the flow of life sciences technologies to market.
BIOINNOVATION SCIENTIST – Level III (COMING IN 2021-2022)
Life Science Project Management Expertise and Innovation Project Application
BIS Level III participants will have access to senior executive mentors, and will be expected to mentor others. They will also be able to explore their own or other disciplines through placements and laboratory innovation projects, be eligible to receive scholarships to attend industry events; and adMare will provide them with a platform to address the industry on their ideas. BIS Level III graduates will receive recognition as leaders in innovation through their possession of advanced innovation skills, an established network, diverse experience, and respected opinions in the Canadian life sciences industry.
