About Killian O’Driscoll 

Killian O’Driscoll is the Chief Commercial Officer at the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT). Killian is a Genetics graduate from Trinity College Dublin with an MSc in the Management of Innovation from the University of London. He also is an Associate Lecturer in Project Management at Dublin Business School. 

Prior to joining NIBRT, Killian worked with Microsoft European Operations Centre as Senior Global Project Manager and with Ericsson Competence Development Centre in the area of technology education and development. 

Killian joined NIBRT as Director of Projects in 2006 as part of the founding leadership team to establish the Institute. Working closely with all stakeholders in the biopharmaceutical sector he helped lead the successful establishment of NIBRT including the construction of the €40 million facility from 2009 to 2011. The start-up of NIBRT was recognised with numerous international accolades including ISPE Facility of The Year and Bioprocess International Manufacturing Collaboration of the Decade.
