From expertise to innovation: Entrepreneurship in life sciences

Join us at the Lunch & Learn on Monday, December 2 in-person at the Montreal adMare Innovation Centre and virtually on Zoom, to find out more about the Life Sciences Entrepreneurship Development Program (LSEDP). Meet Denis Deblois, the program's Academic Director, to learn more about the training, learning objectives and successes of previous cohorts.

Denis Deblois is joined by former students who will share their experiences of the program: 

• David Cotnoir
  Former associate researcher in molecular biology at IRCM, he founded and he is the CEO of Modulari-T Bio after completing the 2019-2020 cohort.
• Roxann Guerette
  Scientist turned businesswoman, she is now Global Director of Business Development, Numaferm’s where she is responsible for identifying growth opportunities in the pharma sector, forging strategic partnerships and expanding Numaferm’s market.
• Julien Bertrand
  He is a CMC Project Manager at Inversago Pharma where he is currently in formulation development and drug production. He is passionate about innovation and science and will be returning to school to start his PhD in formulation development at the University of Montreal.

The Life Sciences Entrepreneurship Development Program (LSEDP) is an immersive and experiential training program created by an unprecedented collaboration between Montréal InVivo, the life sciences and health technology (LSHT) cluster, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Université de Montréal, and Concordia University’s John Molson Executive Centre.

This program, enriched with partnerships with IRICoR and the TransMedTech Institute, is designed for individuals with graduate-level knowledge who are either looking to start a new business, join an existing venture, or enhance their professional trajectory within the Life Sciences and Health Technology industries. Visit the program's website.
