Program

is open to those who’ve recently completed their PhD in a life sciences-related discipline.

In addition to contributing both intellectually and experimentally to numerous therapeutic programs with a focus on data generation, participants’ on-the-job training is supplemented with learning and development initiatives to advance the understanding of the therapeutic development lifecycle and professional skills acquisition.

The Undergraduate
Program 

is open to students currently enrolled in undergraduate science programs at Canadian post-secondary institutions.

Trainees gain experience working in industrial R&D on therapeutic development-related projects under the supervision of a highly trained expert.

Key technical skills developed include:

  • learning to document and conduct experiments according to standard methods and procedures;
  • learning to conduct literature searches to design and troubleshoot experiments; and 
  • developing problem-solving and collaboration skills through work with your supervisor and project teams.

  • developing written and verbal communication skills via team meetings, journal club, and end-of-term presentations;

We recruit students from post-secondary co-operative education programs across Canada for placements beginning in January, May, and September of each year. We work closely with co-op offices throughout the hiring process and look forward to receiving your application through your co-op office.
