unique and substantive programs.

The adMare Executive Institute, sponsored by Pfizer Canada, is a custom-designed program focused on advancing leadership capacity amongst Canadian life sciences professionals. This program offers a unique opportunity to develop your leadership skills alongside other leaders in the industry and learn from their experiences specific to the Canadian life sciences ecosystem. By participating in the program, you will be joining an elite network of trainees and alumni leading innovation in life sciences across Canada.

  • Program Format: Blended; in addition to five multi-day in-person workshops, the program incorporates in-depth assessments, online learning, virtual one-on-one executive coaching, and peer accountability groups. Executive dinners and events with other industry leaders and Executive Institute alumni support building new connections, deepening relationships, and strengthening networks across the Canadian life sciences ecosystem. This program is currently only offered in English.

  • Curriculum: Building on renowned curriculum from the Centre for Creative Leadership, this customized program focuses on key leadership competencies such as: validating and articulating a vision, leading outwardly, communication, influence, self-awareness, and executive image. By engaging in development focused on each participant’s unique leadership needs, this program tailors learning to the specific needs of the individual, enabling them to maximize personal leadership power to accelerate their organization’s goals, commitment, alignment, and results.

  • Eligibility requirements: Open to approximately 20 participants annually, the program is targeted at mid-career personnel (i.e., minimum 10 years' experience) from across Canada who have been nominated by their employer as having C-suite potential or are currently in C-suite roles. Note: To foster a wide range of connections across the entire Canadian life sciences ecosystem we look to accept only one participant per company in a given cohort.

The Executive Institute seeks to better support equity, diversity, and inclusion in the Canadian life sciences sector, creating opportunities for equity-deserving groups and is committed to addressing issues of gender disparity in leadership positions (53% of participants across the five cohorts are female).

  • Duration: Up to 10 months, part-time.

  • Cost: While the market cost of this program is >$35,000 CDN per participant, the adMare Academy is proud to be able to offer the program at NO FEE* to participants due to the generous support of Pfizer Canada.

*Participants will be required to provide a $5,000 deposit, refundable upon successful completion of the program (which requires full participation in ALL workshops and Accountability Group sessions, and completion of ALL coaching, assessments, and any related assignments). Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and other costs related to attending program workshops, and any other ancillary expenses related to program participation.
